2019 seems to start up good with its Open call for Residency at the Karen Village in Kenya - home to CNN’s heavily documented Ocean Sole.
The 2019 residency has 4 curated programs that promises to engage both performing and visual creatives, travelers and younger creative people from all socio economic backgrounds; providing time and space for visual artists, curators, and arts professionals to create, research, experiment, cultivate new directions in their work as well as execute new projects.
This year has also comes with a funded Music Residency has been designed to meet the needs of emerging or independent individuals or groups who create sounds influenced by afromusic or cultures or hiphop music or culture ready to take the next step in their careers and artistic development.
Application Deadline: March 2019.
Residency kicks of May & July 2019.
