The world we live in now really requires us to be groomed under certain people who have been there before. Coming under someone keeps you in check of whatever it is you are doing. The empowerment of women has grown tremendously, look at the likes of Queen Elizabeth, Helena Rubinstein (American Business Woman), Helen Keller (who, at 19months old, became deaf and dumb, still campaigned tirelessly on behalf of the Deaf and Dumb), Benazir Bhutto (first female prime minister of a Muslim country), Oprah Winfrey (first woman to own her own talk show), from western to Africa where we have Tegla Loroupe (Kenyan athlete who held the women’s marathon world record) Folorunsho Alakija (Nigerian businesswoman who is the second richest African woman) (see women who changed the world

From Sports to Education to Religion to Politics to BUSINESS to Entertainment, we see women rise to take challenges and excel in them.

In appreciating the likes of these women in the business world, here in Nigeria, i'm glad to announce the XPERIENCE Womanity Awards.

THE XPERIENCE
An online media firm based in Enugu. Our aim is to celebrate young, advanced, upcoming and established female entrepreneurs who are doing well in their endeavours. This online media brings to limelight the struggles both social and business entrepreneurs go through to succeed, and at the same time celebrating their strength, uniqueness and virtues.

The “XPERIENCE” which started as a WhatsApp group chat two years ago was formally called “NIGERIA MODELS CONNECT”. Due to our bid to expand our readership, ‎the name was changed in February 2015 and thence, we have been able to feature over 20 female entrepreneurs from different works of life, who have shared their experiences with us. The “WOMANITY AWARDS” is however designed to recognise these entrepreneurs and those whom have been of great support to the society.

Women of Valor, Virtue and Value will gather In Enugu state to be Celebrated at the XPERIENCE MEDIA LAUNCH/ WOMANITY AWARDS. For becoming expedient in their endeavors!
