What: A visual art exhibition by Female Artist Association of Nigeria (FEAAN)

On Saturday 7th at 5pm, In the hall Transcorp Hilton Abuja, 1 Aguiyi Ironsi Street, Abuja, the Female Artist Association of Nigeria had an opening for its forth coming art exhibition will is slated to hold on Saturday 14th March 2015.

Since 2013, the Female Artists Association of Nigeria (FEAAN) in collaboration with the Embassy of France in Nigeria has given the women the opportunity to exhibit their works every year. In 2013 it was Plights of Women, 2014 was Women in National Development. This year’s theme is Shades of Unity, Women Make It Happen! is in line with the UNESCO theme for the 2015 international Women day which we are marking.

FEEAN was setup with the primary aims of identifying talented Nigerian Female Artists and using them and their skills to bring about positive social changes and developments in the society, to foster a sense of pride and achievements among the female creative professionals, to promote the dignity of women, and to encourage the members to continue practicing. Membership cuts across all the ethnic groups in Nigeria.

Nigeria Photography Expo & Conference (NiPHEC)

Now What is NiPHEC?

Nigeria Photography Expo & Conference (NiPHEC) is the largest photography and imaging show in West Africa. You’ll have the opportunity to explore photography-related products from different exhibitors, network with world-class photographers, attend conference seminars, keynote presentations, special events & much more. NiPHEC is proudly brought to you by eloPhotos Academy & holds annually in April. NiPHEC is an event for professionals, students, educators and advanced amateurs interested in the photography and digital imaging industries such as commercial, editorial, advertising, wedding, portrait and art photography, among others. The photography conference includes photography classes, seminars, lectures and workshops taught by some of the finest photography instructors and speakers on subjects such as lighting and posing, wedding photography, business and marketing, social media, software and workflow, and video and multimedia. The 2015 schedule of seminars was made available two weeks ago, February 28, 2015.

This year’s show will be held from June 14 – June 20, 2015 in Abuja & Lagos, Nigeria. Registration for seminars have begun. Conference speakers & facilitators for the 2015 edition include (among others) Aisha Augie-Kuta, Uche James-Iroha, Olamide Bakare, Rick Sammon, Emmanuel Effiong-Bright, Seun Akisanmi, Bisola Ijalana and many more.

Humans of Lagos: Getting featured for his good Talent, This Artist gets to meet Bank W

When Art brings out stories behind every human being. Photography does that and The humans of Lagos is all about capturing the moments and telling the stories laying behind every face.
Yesterday, Going through The Humans Of Lagos Facebook page, I stumbled across an Art story. This Artist, I tell you is Good! Really good. And to think raw and good talents are out there, still struggling to get recognised.. He did an art work of Banky W and Wole Soyinka, which were pretty amazing, flawless. I wished someone, somehow would get Banky W to see his amazing work and today, like the Heavens heard me and other fans right, Banky W did get to see his portrait..

Now this Artist has got a score: His good talent and getting to meet Banky W for real! Thumb's up!!
