The 2014 GRAND FINALE of the National Art Competition is scheduled to hold on the 26th of November, 2014 by 6pm at the Grand Banquet Hall, Civic Center, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The Grand Prize to be won is N2,000,000 cash prize, plus A solo show at AAF. The Winner for Outstanding Concept would also get a N1,000,000 cash prize, likewise the Winner for Outstanding Production, who would also bag a N1,000,000 cash prize.
Since its inception, the National Art Competition has sought to unite artists and society through the interpretation of crucial themes proposed in each year's call for entries.
A 4Day retreat, which ran through August 18th to 21st, was held at the African Artists Foundation, nn where the selected finalists did a presentation and discussion on their projects. They had excursion to the Art Gallery at Nike Lake Resort, Enugu and at the 4th day, a conference was held at NB Plc.
This year's Grand Finale will showcase the completed works of the 12 finalists culminating in the announcement of the Grand Prize Winner and Winners for Outstanding Concept and Outstanding Production, at the Grand Banquet Hall, Civic Center, Victoria Island, Lagos by 6 PM.
